Who Is Gilgamesh?

Gilgamesh was known as a very powerful ruler of Mesopotamia. He was also known for being mean. Gilgamesh was being mean to his peers because he was, well just mean. He didn't had anything to do. He was just bored. Then all of a sudden, he took Enkido to a trip to cut down the trees in the forest and to fight monsters too, especialy Humbaba. As soon as they were starting to cut down the trees, Humbaba heard the trees falling down. Humbaba started to attack Gilgamesh and Enkido. Then, all of a sudden, Gilgamesh grabbed the saw and killed the Humbaba. Gilgamesh and Enkido made doors out of the trees. As Enkido and Gilgamesh were on their way to the palace, Enkido had fell. When he was on the bed laying down, Enkido slowly died. That was the end of the story of Gilgamesh.
I infer that the meaning of the story of Gilgamesh was that don't say what your not. For example, Gilgamesh thought that he was just powerful because he was 2 of 3 of being a god. But, when he was put to the test, Gilgamsh failed both tests that he was given. I would also like to add is that if you sometimes think that you are powerful, doesn't mean that you really are. For example, Gilgamesh thought that since he was part god, thinks he is all that.Like I said before, Gilgamesh had lost on both tests that they had gave to them. In my opinion, I infer that to don't say what your not is the meaning.
I infer that Gilgamesh wasn't a hero. I think that he isn't a hero because Gilgamesh was being able to do stuff. For example, when they ordered Gilgamesh to not to sleep, he slept more that 5 days, or more. I would also like to add is that when they ordered him to get the plant under the sea, and he got it. But when he fell asleep, a snake came up to Gilgamesh and ate the plant, he failed the test. He was known as being powerful. That is why in my opinion, he wasn't a great hero.
